ADP’s Digital Contracting at Longhorn Dodge
Dealership: Longhorn Dodge Fort Worth, Texas
History with ADP: Customer for over 15 years
Issue: Wanted to streamline their F&I process
ADP’s Digital Contracting has helped the F&I managers at Longhorn Dodge provide a more efficient and positive customer experience, create better sales opportunities, and increase dealership revenues.
Increase Customer Satisfaction and Sales Opportunities with a Streamlined Process
Longhorn Dodge implemented ADP’s F&I LaserStation printer to automate the F&I processes that were once manual and time-consuming. Managers no longer spend time loading (potentially outdated) contracts into a noisy impact printer one-by-one and can easily reprint documents whenever needed.
Using F&I LaserStation also eliminated the need for multiple printers and lets Longhorn’s managers coordinate all sales process paperwork from a single, centralized system. The end products are cleaner and more professional, and are more easily accessed. Also, because there are no hard copies to retain, F&I LaserStation eliminated storage needs and space constraints that plague the dealership.
“Anything we can do to reduce time spent literally pushing paper through printers and more time explaining products to customers is invaluable to us,” states Brian Gibson, Longhorn Dodge Chief Financial Officer.
With ADP’s Digital Contracting, it’s no longer necessary to scan deal paperwork for storage. As the customer’s copy of forms are printed and signed, F&I LaserStation automatically archives and stores an electronic version, which is accessible from any terminal in the dealership. These archived files may also be printed to any printer in the dealership, making deal look-ups quick, easy, and efficient.
All of this allows managers to spend more time with the customers, presenting additional products and services. The result is increased dealership sales revenue.
Electronic Signature Capture Creates Professional Documents
ADP’s Digital Contracting also includes an electronic signature feature, which allows customers to sign contracts with an electronic signature pad. The signature is captured and stored electronically, and is securely bound to the electronic document.
“The professional look of laser-generated documents with electronic signature lives up to the standard that our customers would expect,” explains Gibson. And even more importantly, the customer spends less time in the F&I office signing documents and more time learning about the value-added products.
Seamless Installation is Backed by ADP’s Outstanding Customer Support
ADP’s customer support is unrivaled in the industry, which Gibson has seen firsthand since the integration and training of Digital Contracting at Longhorn Dodge. “We were the fifth dealer in the country to install Digital Contracting, so we had expected more bugs and more problems,” he said. “Not only did the installation go very, very smoothly, the service so far has gone tremendously well. It was really quite easy.”
Ready for the Future
Longhorn Dodge currently takes advantage of a wide range of ADP products. As Gibson explains, “Our entire DMS System is provided by ADP and we currently are on ADP w.e.b.Suite® … there are many specific products within the system that we utilize throughout the various departments.”
“As Longhorn Dodge continues to grow through the introduction of new product lines and additional franchises, we look forward to partnering with ADP to help manage that growth by making us efficient in our operations, from the sales side of the business; service and parts; and in our accounting functions,” states Gibson.
